At Lunasia, while the creative flair of Chef Landi sets the tone in the kitchen, the front of the house is led with a smile by Claudia Parigi, the restaurant’s maître d’hotel and sommelier.
Born in Livorno, Italy, the globetrotting Claudia’s career has taken her from Tuscany to England and Scotland, where she has worked for prestigious hotels and restaurants, making her the perfect complement to the culinary passion that has always been a trait of Ristorante Lunasia. She manages the front of the house with focused energy and a delicate savoir faire to ensure that everything is perfect, right down to the smallest detail.
During the restyling of the Lunasia, she returned to Bray, England, where she assisted the chef sommelier at chef Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck, the famous restaurant with three Michelin stars that has, on multiple occasions, been named the world’s best restaurant for the ranking of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Something of a polyglot, Claudia can guide you on your culinary journey through the menu’s myriad delicacies in either English, French or Italian and also recommend the best wine—from the 700 labels in our generously stocked cellar—to go with your various selections, ensuring that your experience here at Lunasia is as unique as it is unforgettable.
